To the boy who cares,
   It's an addiction, but so few understand that, you don't really do you darling? But then if I were you, would I be able to see it? Here there's no substance to become hooked on, no drug or drink, only the lick of pain and sight of my own blood. So, sweetheart, I know you try, you set me little rules, tell me it hurts you to see the scars, but do you know how simple breathing hurts me without the scars? You tell me each day, as you kiss my face that this will get better, that together we'll make it though, but baby, truthfully what are we fighting? How can even you, my knight in shining armor vanquish such a foe as constant heartache caused by every word, every look from every mouth and every eye. Baby, don't leave me; kiss my wrists so once again the skin is pale and unmarked. Tell me we'll run away together; find us a place where nothing can touch me, stop my tears each night for life.
